Position: Director of Sales and Marketing - Team Excelerate

Department: Annuity Marketing

Reports to: VP of Advisor Development

Location: Lenexa, KS / Topeka, KS - onsite

Overview:

As the Director of Sales and Marketing at Advisors Excel, you'll play a pivotal role in driving annuity production growth by recruiting and onboarding qualified new advisors. Collaborating closely with the VP of Advisor Development and team members, you'll leverage your sales and marketing expertise to foster meaningful relationships with advisors nationwide.

What you'll do:


  • Initiate and maintain open lines of communication with advisors around the country using a variety of methods including warm and cold calling, creative emails, and lumpy mail processes
  • Cultivate strong relationship with advisors and their teams by demonstrating the value of aligning with Advisors Excel and identifying opportunities to enhance their business processes
  • Build, maintain and nurture a list of qualified advisor contacts through proven mining processes and simple referral building strategies
  • Execute marketing campaigns to prospective advisors through e-mail, webinars, and mail processes
  • Facilitate the introduction of qualified advisors to the sales team's members, including the VP of Sales, to seamlessly transition and advance the sales process while maintaining active involvement throughout
  • Assist committed advisors in our on-boarding process through licensing and incoming releases support
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our annuity carriers and their product offerings, enabling effective communication of strategy to advisors
  • Support writing advisors including the handling of incoming calls, returning emails or voicemails, and working with other internal supporting teams as needed

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Handle confidential information with upmost integrity
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
  • Sales skills and training
