High Level Summary

The selected candidate will provide moderately complex to complex technical support for Document Management. First point of contact for issues and initiatives related to systems, tools, and applications supported by the work group. Duties are varied and include production support and troubleshooting, application maintenance, and monitoring. May coordinate and execute testing, assist in writing test scripts. May participate in BCP activities. Documents user application procedures, updating as changes occur. May conduct and develop user training. Participates and may coordinate projects related to supported applications.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily, routine to complex print management operations, data maintenance, and maintenance of the print management system (both test and production).
  • Work with Elixir Tango+ software to produce shareholder output files. Maintain Tango projects with business requested updates following change management processes.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve production, application, and system problems to ensure that print management related output service commitments are met. Implement necessary process improvements.
  • Coordinates with co-workers to ensure the highest priority work for the group is being done first.
  • Works with all units of Shareowner Services, clients, and vendors on projects and requests.
  • Timely responses to customer inquiries and resolve or escalate problems as necessary.
  • Documents user application procedures, updating as changes occur.
  • Process work orders and checklists, and maintain event and project tracking.
  • May participate in cross-group projects.
  • Performs validation on key processes.
  • Facilitates conversations on non-standard requests and coordinates with internal teams to assess impact and execute on implementation.

Skills, Capabilities, and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviors:

  • Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
  • Experience with data manipulation (Excel, Access, text/ultra-edit)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service and display professionalism
  • Self-starter with ability to follow client request through resolution
  • Effective at fostering strong relationships with business partners and vendors
  • Financial services and/or transfer agent operations experience
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to track resolution of multiple, diverse, long term and high priority items
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of IT processes and technologies
  • Experience with Elixir Tango+ Software
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong sense of urgency including self-governance on task priority
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Must be able to effectively read, write and speak English.

Compensation

  • $20.00-24.00 per hour

Education Requirements

  • College degree preferred

Experience Requirements

  • 2 years of technical support experience
