Virgin Airlines Completes World’s First Biofuel Flight
Partly powered by fuel derived from a mixture of Brazilian babassu nuts and coconuts, Virgin Atlantic has completed the first commercial flight powered by biofuels. However, environmentalists write off the flight as a publicity stunt, stating that biofuels are not realistically sustainable.
