The laptop contained personal information for 800,000 job applicants with the company's Old Navy, Banana Republic, Gap and outlet stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico between July 2006 and June 2007.

VASCO Data Security International, Inc., a software security company specializing in authentication products, announced that has opened a subsidiary in Sao Paulo where it will be hiring local Brazilian staff.

A start-up company has come up with a new way to make money from phone calls connected via the Internet: have software listen to the calls and then display ads based on the conversation.
