LatPro August 2012 Scholarship Award Winner Announced

Damaris Sanchez has been selected as the final recipient of the $2,000 scholarship award (August deadline). Her essay was moving and beautifully written, and we are proud to present her with the LatPro Scholarship award. Damaris is pursuing the noble degree of teaching our nation’s youth after overcoming her own personal battles through the education system. We hope to help her on her journey to “serve as an advisor in impoverished neighborhoods where minority youth are underrepresented.”
