Job Description
The Health, Social and Economics Research Unit within RTI International has an immediate opening for a Health Services Analyst 1 to serve as project coordinator and research assistant to support multiple health services research studies.
Responsibilities
Position may include a broad range of project administrative and research activities. Administrative functions include completing project initiation requirements; planning meetings; and tracking project progress, deliverables, timelines, and budgets. Research activities may include preparing agendas and summaries for conference calls, meetings, and symposia; conducting literature searches and abstractions; assisting with proposal development; managing and coding qualitative or quantitative data; drafting sections of reports and other products; and supporting interviews and other data collection activities. Some travel may be required.

Requirements |
-BA/BS in sociology, psychology, anthropology, public policy, or related field
-Interest/experience in health policy, health services, public health, or organizational analysis.
-Proven excellent oral and written communication skills; writing samples may be requested.
-Fluency in Spanish.
-Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail required.
-Must be able to work well under varied models of supervision, from close and direct to hands-off.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) required; Microsoft Access a plus.
-GPA of 3.5 or higher
