The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is a Department of Defense combat support agency and an important member of the United States Intelligence Community. DIA provides military intelligence to warfighters, defense policymakers and force planners in the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Its vital intelligence work supports U.S. military planning and operations and weapon systems acquisition.

Description of Opportunity: DIA has one of the most diverse polygraph missions in the Federal Government. Polygraph Examiners use their advanced academic credentials, innate tenacity, and confident demeanor to prepare, administer, and evaluate a wide variety of screening, issue-specific, and operational polygraph examinations around the world. Armed with the latest in computerized instrumentation, DIA Polygraph Examiners confidently analyze the data they collect to determine whether the results of their examinations indicate truth or deception. DIA Polygraph Examiners ferret out deceptive results through skillful interrogation, and acquire information never before revealed that could significantly impact the course of agency or broader government action, today and in the future. Polygraph Examiners are able to expand their professional and personal horizons through leadership and management development, continuing education in credibility assessment, and unprecedented specialized training in this highly sought-after and competitive discipline.
