Univision Interactive Media is looking for an energetic, creative, analytical and strategic Interactive Marketing Manager to join our award-winning Marketing team.  This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.  The position is based in Los Angeles and will report directly to the VP of Marketing. 


Marketing Manager will drive the strategic planning and execution of products, content and tent pole events on Univision.com’s online and mobile websites.  Knowledge of the current web landscape and new interactive technologies are crucial to success in this position. 


Job Responsibilities


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


Develop content and unique initiatives that enhance the website experience of consumers



  • Website optimization and integration of offline and online advertising programs to include direct mail, print ads, and other appropriate media for lead generation

  • Participate in the planning of online promotions, execute company-wide initiatives and create online-only sales driving campaigns

  • Development for mobile strategies using iPhone apps, text messaging and other new technologies

  • Develop strategies to cross-merchandise product lines; work with business owners on seasonal promotions and on-going product support

  • Drive online media strategy, media planning/buying and campaign management

  • Drive the use of social networking (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Linked-in, etc.) to create community and drive leads and referrals

  • Analyze flow of traffic and develop understanding of most valuable placements on the site; maximize those placements for the biggest sales return

  • Work with Developers, Graphics Designers and external partners to implement web programs

  • Supervise copywriting/editing and technical requirements for web content 




Requirements

Qualifications 



  • 4-6 years of experience developing and managing online marketing strategies

  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, or related field


§         Strong writing and communication skills required §         Must be fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written)§         Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required



  • Comprehensive understanding of interactive technologies and relationship marketing

  • Experience translating offline marketing concepts to the online space

  • Know how to "drive traffic" to website, make it "visible" and make it "stick"

  • Expertise in using social media (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter)

  • Ability to analyze website metrics and product reports; experience with analytical tools

  • Knowledge of HTML and web design; familiarity with Web 2.0 technologies

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines and work well with multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional and information sharing environment

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment in a fun, teamwork-oriented company
