Description

Alsis Funds is an investment manager focused on asset backed financing in Latin America. The fund invests in structured transactions backed by real estate, mortgages, autos, and consumer loans. The fund is seeking to hire a Fund Associate for its Miami Beach office.

Primary Responsibilities:

Play a critical role in day-to-day transaction processes including modeling/analytics, writing of internal documentation and support for front-office personnel.
Responsible for writing investment reports, developing and improving financial models, conduct valuation and market analysis, and analyzing financial data on assigned sectors, companies and transactions.
Prepare internal documentation associated with structured transactions.
Review external documentation for compliance to product and risk management policies.
Develop financial models and conduct sensitivity analysis on investments.
Follow up on investment portfolio and loan review. Responsible for monitoring investment performance, investment reporting and valuation.


Requirements

Technical undergraduate degree from a recognized institution.
A minimum of two years of working experience in risk management, asset management or portfolio management of structured transactions.
Excellent written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Bloomberg proficiency.
