US Smokeless Tobacco Company's role is to responsibly manufacture and market its brands to adult tobacco consumers. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Maintenace Mechanic for 2nd or 3rd shift to join our Manufacturing plant in Nashville, Tennessee.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and repair production and industrial machinery and equipment and will actively pursue process improvements in a team-based environment.

Qualified applicants will:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. and for Altria family of companies
• Be able to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift
• Possess 5 years work experience as a Machinist Mechanic
• Have strong safety orientation
• Have excellent problem solving abilities
• Have strong communication skills
• Have a high degree of initiative and conscientiousness
• Have the ability to help our team drive innovation
• Have the ability to interpret and work from blueprints and drawings
• Have the ability to use measuring tools, hand tools and machine shop equipment
• Have the ability to diagnose the cause of malfunctions in industrial equipment.
