Bilingual Customer Service SpecialistLocation: Charlotte, NC# of openings: 5DescriptionPosition Overview:The Bilingual Customer Service Specialist is responsible for telephone and written communication with English adn Spanish-speaking customers, and other internal departments; providing assistance to customers and their mortgages. Responsibilities also include relaying product features and benefits, as well as special projects.Working Relationships:The Bilingual Customer Service Specialist reports to the Customer Service Supervisor; and must develop strong working relationships with direct reports, key stakeholders, vendors, investors, co-workers, and customers.Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Respond politely and quickly to customer calls Research any questions for the mortgager Complete any calling campaigns Complete tasks on task tracking within Fidelity MSP Resolve customer issues Other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:* Must be fluent in Spanish* BA/BS Degree strongly preferred* Minimum of 1 year customer service call center or customer service experience such as insurance, retail, banking, hospital medical office or other experience with extensive customer contact* 30 wpm keyboarding skills with 95% accuracComputer proficiency* Fidelity MSP, a plus* Ability to apply mathematical concepts and calculations* Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills and strong customer-service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette* Ability to interpret policies and procedures and communicate effectively* Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment in a complex and rapidly changing environment* Capability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and learn and retain new or evolving information and procedures* Ability to work under stress and pressure and respond to inquiries with tact, diplomacy and patience* Ability to work in a team environment* Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters* Demonstrated initiative in researching and resolving benefits, eligibility, and claims issues* Excellent punctuation, spelling, grammar, and proof-reading skills
