Bilingual Technical Sales Engineer As a key role in our organization, we will rely on your tenacity and unwavering relationship building skills to provide customers with product and technical support by performing the following duties: Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, online networks, and mail. Assist staff in advising customers how to use products properly. Inform management with product development issues arising from product problems identified through technical support calls with customers. Handle customer issues that arise from the use of the product. Answer engineering questions as needed in both English and Spanish. Design and create detail drawings for support systems based on customer needs using Oglaend modular support system. Assist sales staff in estimating, material take offs, and quotations as needed. Attend key sales calls and seminars with the Sales or Engineering Manager as part of the transition into a Technical Sales Engineer position. Assist in generating specifications for major global offshore projects. Conduct customer product field training. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Structural preferred or 1-2 years related experience and/or training. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor; PDMS and SACS preferred. Oil and gas offshore design and offshore travel experience preferred. Ability to perform design calculations for basic structural support systems. Experience with cable tray, strut, modular support systems preferred. Experience with electrical codes NEC, NEMA, & IEC preferred. Experience with stainless steel and fiber reinforced polyester (FRP) materials preferred. Ability to speak effectively before a group of Managers, Engineers and Designers.
