Area Support manager will be a member of a small team of subject matter experts in "soft service" facilities. This team will investigate and follow up on opportunities to support our organic growth in existing markets and locations.
Must have experience in one or more of the following areas: custodial/janitorial; grounds keeping; pest control; materials handling; call centers.
Preference given to candidates with prior successful experience in developing budget models for new sales and successful execution in transitioning new business.
Position is virtual. Up to 100% domestic travel is expected and required. Must be flexible in making and changing travel to meet the demands of the business. Candidates will be a member of a virtual team so must have demonstrated ability to work individually while communicating effectively to the larger team. Strong working knowledge of MicroSoft business applications including MicroSoft Project is required.
Serves as a subject matter expert for the Division relating to standards and practices for custodial/EVS services. Typically aligned with an SVP or VP and supports that geography. Ensures compliance with the Sodexo template for services, as well as related regulatory requirements. Works with operations constituents in areas relating to financial management, people management, account development, and account operations. Supports the implementation of new unit openings, including the development and administration of training plans. Supports the sales process by assisting with operations and costing analyses, and by providing technical support in the development of service proposals.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years of experience in related field
