US Smokeless Tobacco Company's role is to responsibly manufacture and market USSTC brands to adult tobacco consumers in a financially disciplined way, and to provide marketing services to PM USA for its smokeless products. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Millwright to join our Nashville manufacturing facility on 3rd shift.
The successful candidate will be expected to fabricate, install, repair, maintain, dismantle, adjust, and assemble industrial machinery and supporting equipment in accordance with drawings, diagrams, sketches, operational manuals and manufacturer's specifications and related documentation. The machinery and mechanical equipment will include engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and presses. Millwrights also actively and continuously support process improvement initiatives in a team-based environment.

Requirements |
Qualified applicants will:
Be at least 18 years of age
Be eligible to work in the U.S. and for the Altria family of companies
Be able to work on any shift
Possess millwright and welding credentials
High School graduate or equivalent with a minimum of (7) years work experience as an industrial Millwright.
Have strong safety orientation
Have excellent problem solving abilities
Have strong communication skills
Have a high degree of initiative and conscientiousness
Have the ability to help our team drive innovation
Have the ability to assemble, align and install machines and equipment using hoists, booms, jacks, dollies and measurement and alignment devices
Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and equipment manuals
Have demonstrated expertise in the use of measuring tools, hand tools and power tools
Have demonstrated proficiency in welding mild steel, stainless and aluminum utilizing Heliaric-Stic-Mig and Oxyacetylent techniques as well as a cutting torch
