AECOM Government Services supports the U.S. federal government with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.Job Description Seeking a Spanish Linguist/Target Analyst Reporter (TAR) with excellent oral and written communication skills for a position that will focus on drug-traffickers in Mexico, Central America, and/or South America. As a member of a team of linguists and analysts, the individual will be responsible for researching, monitoring, and developing targets that further the goals and objectives of the team. The Linguist/TAR will review intelligence for technical information related to target maintenance. Looking for an individual capable of using or learning to use existing computer-based technologies to aid in the discovery and development of communications networks. The individual may also participate in analytic exchanges, working group meetings and contribute to briefings or technical presentations; and share language and target knowledge with teammates.QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:The successful applicant will be a Veteran Spanish Linguist and Target Analyst Reporter with recent SIGINT reporting experience and at least 20 years of experience in intelligence. Knowledge of computer-based technologies along with a solid understanding of analysis and tools is required as is familiarity with Microsoft Word and other computer software.Required Clearance: Active TS/SCIThe ideal candidate will have the following:. Performance at level 3 in listening, reading and translation as defined by the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) required or 3/3 DLPT or equivalent scores within the past year.. Able to accurately preserve and convey the flavor, nuances and subtleties of the original text and interpreting and translating passages that are difficult to understand due to the specific nature or complexity of the language used.. Experience providing gists, summaries, extracts, full and verbatim transcripts and English translations of a variety of audio and written materials.. Experience providing on-line assistance to other operational linguists.. Able to perform as quality controller for peers and junior linguists.. Experience and skill providing timely and responsive intelligence support.. Will be an excellent reporter and will research collateral information and drawing on target knowledge and background information, issue thoroughly researched and well-written reports in a timely manner.. Excellent report writing, research, collaboration, and coordination skills are required.. Individual must have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.. Good interpersonal and communication skills..
