Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Marlon Rehabilitation Hospital. This 60 bed acute rehabilitation hospital is located in southern NJ.
Reporting to the General Manager, the CNM will:
Provide nutritional care to the acute rehab patients as the sole RD.
Be a Registered Dietitian with a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in an acute care or rehab setting.
Manage the diet office staff and oversee the clinical nutrition program.
Have experience with electronic medical records and the NCP.
Attend interdisciplinary care conferences and team meetings.
Demonstrate skills in managing and developing staff; development of policy and procedures; accreditation and regulatory readiness and review; and establish and maintain standards of care.
Have excellent communication and customer service skills and have strong leadership skills.
Work closely with the Food Service Management team and assist as needed.

Typically manages a small, one registered dietitian account. Has mostly direct patient care responsibilities. May have patient food service responsibilities. Responsible for meeting JCAHO/state/federal and company standards. This position is the primary liaison with the medical and nursing staff.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
