Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 to oversee the daily food operations of a high volume, multi service acute care hospital located in Lowell, MA. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position will direct all of the daily food contract operations including Retail, Catering, and Patient Meal Services. The responsibilities in this position will have a strong focus on food quality, strong leadership, cost containment and supervision of 10 employees. Must be knowledgeable in purchasing and food production systems.
The successful candidate will have food management experience with the ability to lead, develop and manage hourly staff, possess a strong financial acumen and working knowledge of HACCP guidelines as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Has direct client contact on day-to-day issues. Develops and Implements plans under the direction of a GM 5 or higher. Manages through managers. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
