The Clinician will foster positive working relationships with clients, families and outside key stakeholders and utilize a strength based-solution focused model of care. The EDT Clinician will utilize a team approach while working in a therapeutic milieu.REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSMaster''s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required. We provide cutting-edge human services that address a diverse range of needs and backgrounds, enhance strengths and provide the supports that encourage recovery from challenges for a satisfying life in the community.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConducts program specific screening and evaluation, and formulates diagnosis in accordance with the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM). Develops and documents, clear clinical formulations and treatment plans that are individualized and measurable, developed in collaboration with the client/family and others as relevant.Demonstrates knowledge of psychopathology and other behavioral health concerns and primary modalities of psychotherapeutic intervention. Triages clinical emergencies and implements program specific safety and consultation protocols. Utilizes best practices and evidenced based practice models where appropriate and adheres to model and program expectations.Facilitates group therapy sessions daily, facilitates individual, family, and multifamily therapy sessions, supervises children and adolescents in a milieu setting. Prior experience working with children and adolescents in an EDT or IOP setting preferred. Experience running group therapy sessions preferred as well.Demonstrates knowledge of internal and external levels of care, referral processes and resources. Makes clinically appropriate referrals for indentified service needs in a timely manner.Communicates in a positive, effective manner with client, family, and all internal and external providers. Attends any required meetings.Meets direct service productivity goals as defined by program. Demonstrates knowledge of program/department/agency goals and target outcomes, and adheres to practice standards and to data collection and reporting protocols.Documents all client related information in compliance with agency policy.Attends and is prepared for scheduled supervision. Seeks additional supervision or consultation as needed and follows through with supervisory directives.Provides service in the office and/or community settings outside of the office (e.g., homes, schools, hospitals, institutions, other community locations) as defined by the program.Affirmative Action/EqualOpportunityEmployer
