Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi seeks a Professional Assistant Professor of Spanish in the Department of Humanities. This is a renewable, non-tenure track position in Spanish with competitive salary, benefits, and the potential for long-term employment and promotion. The teaching load will be four courses per academic semester and the coordination of our online language laboratory. Our teaching focus is on beginning Spanish and the possibility to develop upper-division courses in translation/interpretation and Spanish for the professions. The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Spanish by August 2013 and a demonstrated ability to teach a full-time load.
