Position Information The OB Educator at WakeMed is accountable for both the application of theoretical principles of pediatric and adult learning and the educational process in order to meet the organizational, divisional, and/or unit based goals as they relate to the Hispanic education needs with the Women and Childrens Services division. Acts as a resource to Interpreter Services and hospital staff on multiple levels including relationships with Wake County Human Services, WMF OB/GYN, WakeMed Faculty Pediatrics, Private OB/GYN and Private Pediatric groups to provide a continuum of care for Hispanic patients served in Women and Childrens Services. **Since the salary for this exempt position is pulled from a table assuming the position is full time, any position scheduled to work less than 80 hours a pay period will be prorated Experience Requirements: Minimum of two years current clinical experience in caring for Hispanic patients in an acute care setting related to Women and Childrens Services required. Select Education Type: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required. Licensure/Certification Requirements: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina. Hours of Work:Monday - Friday: 7a -3p Weekend Requirements:Every Other Call Requirements:as needed
