Currently, Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager 3 to oversee Food Services operations at Community Colleges of Spokane / Spokane Falls Community College in Spokane, Wa. Each has a primary retail location, i.e. a food court type operation, plus a remote location that is grab and go oriented. The Spokane Community College location also has a mobile cart that operates part of the day 4 days per week. Catering is done on both campuses. The second, smaller operation is Spokane Falls Community College - where there is a unit supervisor that acts as the primary overseer of the employees and operations there, and reports to the GM.

The General Manager will serve as the leader of Food and Dining Services on Campus, will have complete P & L responsibility, and must be able to create the vision necessary to support the contract. The ideal candidate will have previous success managing in a large, multiple venue Food Retail environment, a strong focus on food quality and presentation, training and mentoring employees, solid organizational and leadership skills. Food/Beverage Cost controls are key skills that must be mastered to be successful as a GM with Sodexo.

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
