UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIALecturer in Spanish The Department of Spanish and Portuguese in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences seeks applicants for full-time and part-time, non-tenure track positions to teach all levels of Spanish language (ability to teach Portuguese desirable). Requirements: M.A. or Ph.D. in Spanish, Second Language Acquisition, Applied Linguistics, or related field; demonstrated excellence in communicative language teaching at the college level. The department highly values ACTFL OPI Superior rating in Spanish. Complete dossier will consist of: letter of interest; statement of teaching philosophy; URL to edited teaching video 10 minutes; CV; three recent letters of recommendation that address teaching abilities; and recent teaching evaluations.
