Title: Inside Sales Call Center- Windsor, CT- Spanish/English Bilingual a plus - Training Starts June 17, 2013Location: United States-Connecticut-WindsorOther Locations:Bilingual Spanish Speaking candidates encouraged to applyWHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?This position resides within the call center and operates in a team-based environment.Inside Sales Agent responsibilities include:-Taking inbound phone calls from AARP members requesting insurance to meet their homeowner and automobile insurance needs.-Provide quotations and counseling on insurance coverages.NO COLD CALLING!-Applying and adhering to appropriate underwriting guidelines to determine customer eligibility and utilizing a professional sales model.-Candidates will demonstrate an expertise in cross-selling products and services as they relate to customer needs.-Works within established, measurable, call center metrics.-During our paid training program, you must successfully complete training and pass the Property & Casualty licensing exam.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Qualifications include:-We are looking for professionals with retail, call center, inside/outside sales, customer service, insurance, claims or agency experience preferred.-High school diploma or equivalent required /college degree preferred.-Capability to effectively analyze and assess customer inquires and achieve sales goals.-Knowledge of the sales process.-Candidate must possess strong computer skills and ability to navigate in a Windows based environment.-Ability to adjust and succeed in a rapidly changing call center environment.-Ability to multi-task and attention to detail is critical in this position.-Outstanding verbal communication skills and strong telephone etiquette-Must be able to work weekends and evenings-Advanced Multi-tasking ability, ability to assist customers on phone while navigating through 8 programs, windows required-Spanish-English bilingual a plus but not required, receive a 5% language differential upon taking calls in Spanish WHY JOIN THEHARTFORD?The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. Working remotely from home may be available - long term, after completing the training program; also contingent upon business need and individual performance. * Start Date: Monday, June 17, 2013 * Training Hours: 11:30 am - 8:00 pm Monday - Friday for approximately 16 weeks, time off not allowed during training * Work Shift: Monday - Friday 11:30 am - 8:00 pm and every other Saturday or every other Sunday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. You will receive a day off during the week (not Monday) when working weekend. Equates to 40 hours a week. Applicant must be able to commit to the work schedule long term.
