Title: Bilingual Plant Human Resources Manager - San Antonio (BE)Location: US-TX-San AntonioOther Locations: The Plant Human Resources Manager will direct and lead human resource processes, procedures, and programs in the San Antonio plant while ensuring alignment of HR initiatives with plant and corporate objectives, building and maintaining effective relationships with the workforce, and partnering with the plant leadership to support business objectives.As an HR Operations Excellence leader you will:1. Demonstrate leadership in communicating business and HR goals, programs, and processes for the plant.2. Provide advice and counsel to plant management and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices while ensuring alignment with plant and corporate objectives. 3. Partner with plant management and/or HR Operations Director and lead/support human resources programs, including the following: organizational change/effectiveness, implementation of process improvements including HR change initiatives, planning, and facilitation; recruitment and talent management, training and development, performance management, compensation administration and safety.4. Work with plant leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment while driving employee engagement5. Work with the corporate compliance to ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of HR.6. Ensure the execution of key plant Human Resources initiatives and processes to drive continuous improvement in all areas of the plant human resources department.7. Mentor and develop the plant HR staff to ensure ongoing development and HR operational excellence expertise within the function8. Support and drive organizational change efforts and collaborate with plant leadership and HR Operations Director to ensure successful change management approaches through effective planning and analysis, communication of initiative, and full leadership support and employee involvement.9. Manages complex, highly visible projects as designated by HR Operations Director and/or Plant Manager.10. Conduct investigations and recommend actions to effectively resolve policy violations. Seek council from Legal as necessary to ensure proper risk management. Elevate matters to the HR Operations Director.11. Track and analyze plant HR metrics to determine root cause and develop and execute action plans to address problem areas.12. Stays current on state/federal employment laws and company policies. Reduces liability through communication and HR best practice sharing by engaging COE's as required.1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field.2. Bilingual required (English/Spanish).3. Minimum of five years of proven experience in an HR leadership role in a manufacturing environment preferred4. Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive HR Generalist experience required with in-depth knowledge of Employee Relations.5. Demonstrated success influencing and coaching direct reports, plant employees, and business leaders.6. Strong proactive customer service orientation and ability to establish solid working relationships with all levels of employees7. Superior organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills are required.8. Expertise in core HR functions/HR acumen.9. Possess accurate and updated knowledge of Federal and State laws.10. Ability to juggle multiple and competing priorities11. Travel may be required (20%).
