Sodexo Campus Sports & Leisure business segment is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Manager 2 for our Concessions/Catering operations at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Positions will oversee the Concessions/Catering operations for the 52K seat football stadium and 8K seat basketball arena. the Operations Manager is the second in command at the facility, reporting to the GM. This position will be primarily responsible for the Concessions side of the operation, with some involvement with the Catering as well.
The football stadium has 20 permanent concessions stands, enhanced by 14 side concessions outlets for specialty items, as well as several portables. The catering operation consists of a Club Level that serves 1000 on game day, Recruiters lounge, 5 suites, corporate tailgate tents and press area. This unit includes the Training Table operation for football and basketball and year round catering in the premium areas.
Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and directly supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
