As our new customer service representative, you would answer incoming calls, process questionnaires, and conduct research to help determine potential for third party liability. This role offers plenty of autonomy to a self-directed individual, as well as plenty of room for growth. Candidates should be flexible with regard to hours.  
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Answer inbound calls from members who call in to respond to claims questionnaires
  • Create claims files based on information gathered from an electronic tape of paid claims data
  • Access and analyzing questionnaire responses to identify and build case files for subrogation
  • Make outbound calls to gather pertinent information regarding injuries related to a third party
  • Refer cases to analysts for further investigation and negotiation
  • Expected hours to work are 10:30AM - 7:30PM Monday - Friday





Requirements

Requirements:
  • 1 year of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems, OR 1 year of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone

Assets:

  • Call center experience

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer
  • Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity
