The Sr. Brand Manager serves as the subject matter expert on the Hispanic consumer within the Multicultural Marketing function. The position requires in-depth knowledge of Hispanic trends, insights and behaviors from both a consumer and shopper perspective inclusive of the un-acculturated, bi-cultural and acculturated sub-segments. This role will be responsible for building organizational capability through development and mining on break-through insights, research and measures. In addition this role will be responsible for the execution of core heritage Hispanic programs (i.e. Hispanic Heritage Month) Function Specific Activities: Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects. Identify the needs and business objectives of the brand in order to provide marketing programs tailored to meet units' brand and business needs. Ensure Company resources are optimally devoted to the appropriate strategic solutions by providing Divisions with clear strategic frameworks for managing core brand innovation in order to generate incremental and sustainable profitable growth. Guide adherence to a cohesive brand communication plan to ensure continuity of cross-market brand communication and executional platforms by publishing brand toolkits for new brands (including brand architecture, positioning statement, operational marketing strategies, etc.). Interact with divisions/customers in order to influence their brand plans during annual business planning process. Support brand positioning and related objectives (e.g., building brand awareness, improving brand recall scores) by composing and incorporating advertising goals into the brand plan in order to ensure concept alignment with brand positioning. Provide direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills. Ensure direct reports or project team members have clarity about their roles and responsibilities Provide direction, leadership and coaching to direct reports or members of a project team you are leading. Provide feedback to others in order to enhance their job performance. Determine priorities for one's area of accountability to create clarity about focus and enable work to be completed efficiently. Education: Bachelor's Degree Related Work Experience: At least 5 years relevant work experience in multicultural / consumer brand marketing. Spanish language competency is required. Previous multicultural marketing experience is preferred. Marketing Operating Strategies: Knowledge of and ability to apply basic marketing operating strategies (e.g., media planning, pricing strategies, trade/consumer promotions) used in the execution of marketing plans. Brand Marketing Strategy: Knowledge of information used to define brand strategic corridors and develop appropriate business solutions for local market activation.
