Heartland Hospice a subsidiary of HCR ManorCare is currently searching for a full-time (32 hour/week) Hospice Triage Nurse. As a triage nurse you will be responsible for handling incoming calls after hours, doing assessments over the phone, providing clinical expertise and coordinating visits with the on call nurse(s) as needed/appropriate. The hours of this position are Sunday 8am-Monday 8am, Monday 4:30pm-8am Tuesday, Tuesday 4:30pm- 8am Wednesday and possibly every other Wednesday night.
This position requires compliance with Heartland Corporate Standards and local, state, and federal laws, in an institutional setting, within the policies of the institution. Supplements nursing care of clients.

Educational Requirements:Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state and in good standing with the Board in which he/she will practice.
Position Requirements:
A minimum of six months nursing experience within the past three to five years.
100% travel on a daily basis.
