23371--Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager (II) for St. Luke Residential Healthcare Facility (200 Residents) in Oswego, NY. Oswego is about 45 miles Northwest of Syracuse. Position manages and trains 40-50 employees and will assist with: Dining Room Service, a small retail area, inventory, ordering, catering, HACCP and sanitation monitors, food and labor cost controls. Ideal candidate has: Healthcare/Seniors Food Service Management experience, a College Degree / Trade
School Certificate, a Servsafe Certificate, excellent communication and leadership skills to work with employees on exceeding Client and Resident expectations, hands on culinary and food production knowledge, some food retail experience, computer skills to work in food and labor management systems, and experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Typical schedule will vary with rotating weekend and holiday management coverage. Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of food production employees. Responsible for the purchasing and receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring the inventory. Maintains food production records/cost indicators. Plans and costs menus.
Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
