Our dedicated global network of analysts is continuously monitoring market and policy changes, technology developments, deal flow and financial activity, allowing instantaneous transparency into the sector.We are seeking talented, highly-motivated interns to join our research teams. Specifically, we are seeking candidates with a background in one of, or a combination of, the following: natural sciences, engineering, economics, or finance.Interns will be charged with research assignments geared toward enhancing our modeling capabilities, reports and information systems. This can involve any of the following: data collection, analysis, modelling, report writing and surveying. The working environment is highly dynamic, fast paced, and intellectually stimulating. Interns will be working directly with our sector analysts (eg, wind, solar, energy efficiency, carbon trading, RECs, biofuels, gas, energy policy) to produce output that is relevant to our client base.Qualifications-Fluency in Spanish is a requirement-Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate-Educational background in natural sciences, engineering, economics, or finance-Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for the energy sector-Exceptional quantitative skills, with strong ability to cut through the noise of large quantities of data, extract and analyse key patterns-Comfortable using Excel and other MS Office applications-Exceptional communication skills: writing (for research reports) and speaking (for presentations at conferences, to clients, or to the media).
