Summary of Position Responsibilities: The Bilingual Spanish - Sr. Project Manager of Infrastructure will be responsible for managing the implementation of large scale, complex projects, identifying and assembling the resources required in support of the projects. Defines and manages the scope of enterprise wide or line of business specific projects with minimum supervision. Conducts project review meetings, documents project status, and supports the resolution of open issues. Escalates critical issues to management, including a resolution approach and the potential impact to the project. Supervisory responsibilities: * May guide the work of more junior staff. Principal Accountabilities of Position: * Working independently, manages large scale projects or oversees multiple related large scale projects for global andor domestic projects. * Identifies resources needed, assembles project team, and assigns individual responsibilities. * Determines scope and documents scope and deliverables based on documentation and requirements supplied. * Creates and administers project plan. * Communicates with Project Management counterparts, customers and project stakeholders to ensure continuing alignment with project objectives. * Manage stakeholders (ex: customers, vendors, etc.) and team expectations. * Manage assigned resources to ensure on-time completion of planned tasks. * Provide senior management and stakeholders with project status. * Identify and mitigate issues and risks. * Facilitates project meetings and produces meeting minutes. * Creates project status using defined templates. * Creates and maintains project documentation. Job Requirements * 8+ years of working experience in IT or related experience. * 4+ years project management experience. * 2+ years of extensive experience managing offshore teams, cross functional teams and 3rdparty vendors. * 4+ years of Project Management and Project Management concepts. * Fully Bilingual English & Spanish, fluent in reading, writing and communication. Preferred Experience: * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or 10 years of equivalent experience. * PMP certification preferred. * Working knowledge of Infrastructure technologies and methodologies. * Experience managing project teams in a matrixed organization a plus. * Ability to access Project Management processes and make recommendations on process improvements. * Detailed knowledge and/or experience with technology concepts and Software Development Life Cycle methodologies (i.e.: Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, etc.). * Experience working with Project Portfolio Management tools, Clarity preferred. * Extensive experience with managing offshore teams and/or vendors. * Excellent communication and analytical skills, inclusive of written, verbal and listening. Customer Service Orientation and strong teamwork. * Experience managing international projects while located domestically Travel: * 5 - 15 % and some international travel possible.
