MVM, Inc. is recruitingfull time/part time(on an as needed basis) Spanish Analytic Linguists for night/weekend shift assignments in Houston, TX. Current Schedule 4:00 PM 12:00 AM to include weekends. The positions are on an as-needed basis. Qualifications and Requirements: 1. Native or near native oral and written communications skills required in Spanish and English; 2. Ability to comprehend slang and colloquial expressions in Spanish and translate them to English; 3. All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States; 4. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government Security Background Investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements; which includes a favorable credit check and no criminal records; 5. All applicants must have resided in the United States for at least three (3) years of the last five (5) years; 6. Bachelors DegreeREQUIRED; OR Associates Degree with two (2) years of experience in the translation field in a professional or volunteer settingREQUIRED; OR four (4) years of experience in the translation field in a professional or volunteer settingREQUIRED; 7. Typing skills of at least 40 wpm; 8. Available to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends. (Please note this position will require Analytic Linguist to work nights to include weekends and some Holidays); 9. All applicants must be residents of the Houston, TX area.
