Job Description
The Nurse Reviewer is a member of the Clinical Quality Management department who focuses on the collection, analysis, and presentation of data for clinical quality measures throughout Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare. As a member of the Clinical Quality Management work team, the employee is expected to be a champion for quality within the organization and act as a mentor to others in quality improvement. This position will be required to successfully complete an American College of Surgeons, National Surgery Quality Improvement Program (ASC NSQIP) training program and participate in ongoing training, conferences and calls.
Basic Qualifications:
Min. 1 year experience in OR, hospital surgical dept., surgery clinic, or ICU. Clinical chart review & abstraction experience preferred. Database data entry and/or data management experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Other Qualifications:
Basic statistical knowledge preferred. QI or patient safety knowledge and experience preferred.
License or Certification:
WI RN License or eligible. BSN preferred.
