23482 - Sodexo is seeking an entry level Food Service Manager (2)for Arbor Glen - a premier Retirement Community in Bridgewater, New Jersey . This Continuing Care Retirement Community has 220 independent, 55 Skilled and 31 Assisted Living residents with a full service retail cafeteria and conference center. Ideal candidate has experience in managing food service employees and will be responsible for: 20 employees, scheduling, HR administrative functions, some catering, and billing. Best qualified candidate has strong: administrative, leadership, management, and computer skills. Typical shift will run 11 am - 7:30 pm with alternate weekend and holiday management coverage. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
