Customer Service Specialist

Are you looking for future opportunities utilizing your compassion for others and your ability to help others learn new concepts and tools? Our Customer Service Specialist (CSS) position educates members on confusing terminology, policies, and tools such as myregence.com, to assist in their role as a more active health care consumer.
Key qualifications and experience:
Spanish fluency required (conversational and writing skills)
1 year customer service call center experience or 1 year customer service experience such as insurance, retail, banking, restaurant, hospital medical office or other experience with extensive customer service contact
Proficient PC skills and prior experience in a PC environment;
30 wpm typing skills with 95% accuracy
Knowledge of medical terminology and coding preferred
High school diploma or GED
In addition, candidates must be able to:
Apply mathematical concepts and calculations, interpret policies and procedures
Make decisions and exercise good judgment in a complex and rapidly changing environment
Demonstrate initiative in researching and resolving benefit, eligibility and claims issue
Work under stress and pressure and respond to inquiries with tact, diplomacy and patience
Exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters
