(https://metropolis.abm.com/) ABM Services Inc has an immediate need foranevening shift Supervisor who speaks English and Spanish for our Sacramento branch office.This is a night, salary-exempt position. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee janitorial functions in buildings located in the Sacramento area. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Lead by example: adhere to Branch, Corporate, Division, and Region policies. Achieve budget goals each quarter (labor to budget; supplies to budget) Maintain assigned accounts to customer cleaning specifications Maintain service quality and quantity including follow-up reporting Respond to customer issues as directed by management Perform quality control inspections as directed by management Provide an environment that will allow subordinates to grow and develop skills for future advancement Train janitorial staff in proper ABMcleaning techniques Work with management to ensure proper safety and HR training has been provided for allemployees Perform job counseling and issue employee discipline Order cleaning and/or paper supplies foreach account Perform Safety and HRaudits Ensure janitors are clocking in/out (review time records to ensure proper wage payment to employees) Provide support and leadership in special project/initiatives as directed by management Maintain working relationship with labor unions Education/Training: High school graduate or equivalent GED.Training in the cleaning industry or building management field is preferred Job Knowledge/Experience: 1-2 years supervisor experience 1-2 years customer service experience 2-5 years previous cleaning experience desired License(s): Valid driver's license Must be able to drive a motor vehicle at night Communication Requirements: Must be able to read, write and speak English Must be able to speak Spanish Must be able to communicate with clients and managers over email Must possess good interpersonal skills Computer Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Ability to learn and understand any applicable payroll/accounting software Benefits Provided: Salary Commission on Tag Sales Health Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance, EAP Health Care and Commuter Tax-Free Flexible Spending Accounts. 401(k) Retirement Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan ABM IS AN EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY/AFFIRMATIVE ACTION EMPLOYER (M/F/V/D) EOE : Salaried
