Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for New York Hospital Queens, a 500 bed teaching hospital. Responsibilities include providing nutritional care to patients in the 15 bed transitional care unit, as well as provide care to med/surg patients.
Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the selected candidate will:
Join part of dynamic team of 11 RD's and work every 3rd weekend
Be a Registered Dietitian or eligible for RD certification.
Be familiar with the Nutrition Care Process and electronic charting
Participate in community events occasionally
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
enjoy working with seniors to make every day a better day for our patients
Have a passion for driving and improving the patient experience for the Seniors we serve

Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
