Bilingual Social Worker, Lourie Center, FT Job ID: 306979 Location: Lourie Center-Rockville Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Responsibilities Assesses family functioning, identifying the quality of parent-child relationships and the family's dynamics. Provides psychotherapeutic treatment to children and their families including individual play therapy, parent collateral work, family therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy. Monitors progress of children/families in treatment and formally reviews treatment plan and goals every six months. Consults with other professionals working with the client both at Lourie Center and outside of the agency to assure coordinated and comprehensive service delivery. Qualifications Requires LCSW-C licensure or equivalent. Must speak Spanish and English Knowledge of psychological disorders from infancy through adulthood is essential. Demonstrated expertise in the use of social-emotional evaluation procedures for children under six years of age is required. Work Schedule Adventist Behavioral Health has a full-time Clinical Bilingual (Spanish and English) Social Worker working position working at the Lourie Center School. This position provides direct clinical services including evaluations and psychotherapy (individual, family, collateral, and parent counseling) to assigned cases.
