Primary responsibility of this position is to direct and lead McCormick commercial activities in the Caribbean and South America. Successful candidate will identify, detail and execute profitable growth strategies, including strategic direction and business development opportunities in assigned regions. They will participate with business partners in the overall strategic planning of business plans related to McCormick branded products to drive organic growth. Accountability for the achievement of the defined business unit objects (Sales, Profits and Royalty) is required to be successful in this role.
Additional responsibilities:
· Defines Division business strategies and (long range and annual) brand plans for the region to reach sales objectives. Develop and maintain positive trade relations with senior management (Top to Top) with licensees and distributors. Participate in negotiations/collaboration with licensees, co-manufacturers and distributors in terms of contractual matters, marketing services and new product development, as well as advertising and brand management activities within the agreed to overall brand strategy.
· Manage P&L and budgets for assigned region.
· Identify Profitable Growth Strategies: Define an actionable framework and implementation plan for accelerating growth through organic investment and acquisitions. Identify growth opportunities by analyzing the market and customer trends and competition. Drive execution of growth strategies.
· Assists in the establishment of priorities and direction for product lines including forecasting, promotions, packaging, product quality standards, line extensions and new product development to ensure sales, expense and revenue forecasts are accurate within prescribed standards.
· Ensures resources are in place to coordinate commercial strategies and deliver adequate product plans to reach sales objectives. Develop and coach direct reports, mentoring talent.
