The successful candidate must be able to meet the credentialing requirements in theNICCQuality Faculty Plan, meet all scheduled class and office commitments, and demonstrate respect for and sensitivity to diverse populations. Successful performance of duties requires competency and a comprehensive understanding of the Spanish language with an emphasis on communicating using the Spanish in a class room and business environment.KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS,ANDABILITIES:1. Possess a comprehensive understanding of teaching principles for the Spanish language.2. Possess necessary skills to organize develop, relevant curriculum and teach/evaluate student performance. Delivery of duties may include evening courses.3. Meet all initial credential requirements and maintain credentialing in compliance withNICCQuality Faculty Plan.4. Regularly engage in professional development activities, staying abreast of technological advances in the area of teaching.5. Represent the college in a professional, positive manner with prospective, former and current students, staff, faculty, administrators, and community contacts.6. Possess the ability to demonstrate respect for and sensitivity to a diverse student population.7. Possess ability to develop organize, and present various curriculum concepts to wide diversity of students.8.
