Job Description
Participates in developing and maintaining a therapeutic environment for residents, assists residents in accomplishing treatment goals and maintains a clean and safe environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor or Associate Degree in an approved human services field (Social Work, Sociology, Special Education, Psychology, Counseling and Guidance, Criminal Justice, or any other human services field as approved by the State of Wisconsin Health and Family Services Department) or one or more of the following:Associates degree in behavioral sciences or a registered nurse or one or more of the following:1. 4000 (or more) hours of supervised paid work experience in the delivery of mental health services to adults with mental illness in the past 10 years. 2. Three years personal life experience with serious and persistent mental illness. 3. Three years life experience as a primary care giver to an adult with a serious mental illness.1. At least one year of full-time experience working in a formal program with the type of resident population served by the group home. 2. Certification as a child and youth care worker under the standards of the Wisconsin Association of Child and Youth Care Professionals or other department-recognized certifying authority.Must be 21 years old or 19-20 years old if enrolled in and regularly attends a college or university with a major in any of the approved human services fields listed above. Ability to relate well with diverse individuals.

Schedule Details: Pool position no guaranteed hours.
