Job Description
Provides inpatient and outpatient lactation services across the continuum of care. Communicates with physicians when appropriate re: changes in patient’s clinical condition. Supports nursing colleagues with ongoing education and resources to assist their breastfeeding mothers/pts. Make referrals to other disciplines as appropriate. Assists clients in obtaining general information regarding health care services in the local area. The American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for Nurses provide a basis for practice.

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred. Basic computer knowledge.
License or Certification:
Active Wisconsin R.N. license or eligibility to practice professional nursing in the state of Wisconsin. Current certification as a Lactation Consultant. IBCLC strongly preferred.

Hours/Pay Period: Per Diem
Schedule Details: Monday-Friday; Hours between 8:30am-5:00pm
Weekend Schedule:
Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $23.37 per hour.
