Job Description
Assists pharmacists in providing pharmacy services to our customers. Performs accurate and timely distribution of medications, which may include critical, high expense medications, chemotherapy, controlled substances, and hazardous pharmaceutical substances. Utilizes technicalautomated equipment to provide accurate and safe medications to patients. Facilitates accurate charging-crediting of medications. These activities are performed under the oversight of a Pharmacist.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or the equivalent. Prefer one-year related pharmacy experience and/or training or graduate of certified pharmacy technician training program or graduate of healthcare career program.
Other Qualifications:
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Able to organize and prioritize work in fast paced environment and pay attention to detail. Able to communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and customers. Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook). Ability to perform technical procedures and services. Ability to use fine motor skills to manipulate syringes, needles in the compounding of sterile products. Ability to maintain sterile technique in Laminar or Vertical Flow Environment.

Hours/Pay Period: 64
Schedule Details: Monday-Friday, Varies 8:00am-6:00pm
Weekend Schedule: Rotating every 5-6 weekends. Hours (9:00am - 1:00pm)
Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $11.61 per hour.
