Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC), a 406-bed, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to providing outstanding medical care to the residents of Yuma, AZ and the surrounding communities in southwestern Arizona.
This is a position scheduled to work full time with benefits.
The selected candidate will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager (CNM) and the ideal candidate will:
Be a registered dietitan and provide inpatient nutrition care to pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and critical care
Conduct nutritional assessments following the Nutrition Care Process and provide diet education as needed
Participate in interdiciplinary meetings as needed
Educate patients, family members and hospital/foodservice staff in concepts of nutrition and diet modifications
Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
Assist Clinical Nutrition Manager with management responsibilities as needed
Work some weekends and holidays
Utilize electronic health record (Epic) for patient documentation in ADIME format

Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
