Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian with 1-2 years' experience for Provena United Samaritan Medical Center a 250 bed hospital; average census is 75 in DANVILLE, Illinois; nearest metro is Champaign/Urbana. Provena is a part of the Presence Health System that serves clients of all ages and disease states. Responsibilities include inpatient, outpatient, community programs and classes, oversees activities of dietetic intern, diet office educations/inservices, and tray assessments and meal rounds.
Position will provide nutrition services to in-patients units in the hospital (ICU, Med/Surg, Rehab, OB, Behavioral Health).
Position may also assist with outpatient (diabetes, cardiac patients and support to nutrition education programs and classes).
As a member of the nutrition team, the ideal candidate will work closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager to provide nutrition services at this institution.
Prior experience with the Nutrition Care Process and Electronic Health Records is a plus.
Must be a Registered Dietitian and eligible for Illinois licensure

Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
