Sodexo Leisure has an exciting Catering/ Restaurant Manager role available at Old Sturbridge Village. This manager is responsible for planning & executing all catered events on & off site at this unique venue. In addition, this manager will assist the General Manager with FOH operations of the onsite restaurant. The ideal candidate must have experience with hiring, training & scheduling restaurant & banquet staff, planning & executing events, multiple events daily in the peak summer season. This position's schedule includes weekends and most holidays throughout the year.
Old Sturbridge Village is a living historic museum that preserves and exhibits heirloom plant species and heritage breed animals.
Our mission is to provide a dining experience that is relevant to the visitor experience of the property while remaining accessible to current flavor palates. The property is unique in the fact that it is like stepping back in time. It is a very popular choice for hosting weddings, bridal and baby showers. Our customers expect creative, custom designed menus & events ranging from simple themed parties to elegant cocktail receptions or fine dining plated affairs.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
