Description This Sodexo Leisure General Manager position is responsible for all food and beverage operations at Old Sturbridge Village . The ideal candidate will have experience as a Director of a large volume retail F&B venue with retail food outlets & catering & event services. The GM will have responsibility for: Hiring, training & management of staff Cash control & financial responsibilities of the food outlets and catered events Superior customer service is required along with the ability to manage the high level service expectations of our valued guests. Old Sturbridge Village is a living museum that preserves and exhibits heirloom plant species and heritage breed animals. Sodexo Leisure Services provides the onsite food & beverage services at this unique venue. Our mission is to provide a dining experience that is relevant to the visitor experience of the property while remaining accessible to current flavor palates. The property is unique in the fact that it is like stepping back in time. It is a very popular choice for hosting weddings, bridal and baby showers and birthdays.
