The American Diabetes Association is the nation’s leading non-profit organization working to Stop Diabetes and its deadly consequences. We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic professional for the position of Manager, Online Fundraising & Engagement for our Northern New Jersey office located in Bridgewater, NJ.

This position will have a strong background in both nonprofit special events and online communications. The Manager, Online Fundraising & Engagement will provide leadership in the development of an effective multi-channel strategy to achieve online fundraising goals.

Specific duties will include:

* Work closely with event managers and committees to align online strategies with overall event goals, strategies and activities.
* Develop and execute an email outreach plan to increase registration and online fundraising, while monitoring and sustaining acceptable email engagement rates. 
* Manage event website by maintaining a professional appearance and regularly updating content.
* Develop an offline outreach plan to work closely with team captains and participants to increase use of online fundraising tools.
* Provide timely and effective customer service to those seeking assistance with the online fundraising tools.
* Prepare and present trainings to groups and individuals focusing on online fundraising success.
* Analyze online fundraising reports to determine effectiveness of current strategies.
* Manage the social media presence of assigned special events, including content posting, conversation and analysis.
* Identify, train and manage Online Fundraising Chair and social media volunteer(s).


* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
* 3 or more years of relevant special event fundraising background 
* Excellent working knowledge of Convio or other online fundraising and communications systems 
* Basic knowledge of HTML and content management systems preferred 
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data driven decisions 
* Creative thinker with strong interpersonal and team building skills 
* Strong project management skills and a proven ability to prioritize work 
* Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
