Catering Manager
Sodexo has an opportunity available for a Catering Manager on the campus of Dean College. This is a hands on Catering Sales and Operations Manager. (From ordering, menu planning, decor packages, breakdown and cleanup. This is a small unit that requires very high end catering with attention to setup and detail. Event staff is available when client is willing to pay for it. We do exceptionally well with our catered events and service all in upscale platters, china,etc. However we still do student catered events that require a unique ablility to do something for less. This position has a strong potential to grow into a part-time catering, part-time retail operations position.

Manages all catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff. Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events. Responsible for pricing, billing and resolving customer complaints. Develops menu/costing.
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
