Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at Coliseum Health System as a Clinical Nutrition Manager located in Macon, GA. Coliseum Health System is a multi unit system, made up of two Sodexo contracted hospitals and a behavioral health facility located within Macon, GA. The ideal candidate will be highly self motivated with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressive clinical nutrition experience in an acute care hospital setting and 2 years of management experience. Position will report to General Manager and selected candidate will:
Manage a staff of 4 RD and 1 Patient Services Manager and will be indirectly responsible for ~20 frontline employees working in the patient services area. Will also be required to provide consultation to
the General Manager in the areas of regulatory compliance and Medical Nutrition Therapy
Be required to work 20% of time per week is in direct patient care, supporting the RD's in coverage. Some weekend and holiday coverage including on call as needed
Oversee quality improvement programs/training and educating staff
Be responsible for monitoring and achievement of clinical nutrition care standards
Assist in preparation and readiness for accreditation and regulatory visits for clinical and patient services areas
Preferred experience with Meditech, electronic medical record and Health Touch or dietary electronic meal ordering system
The selected candidate must be a self-directed, team player, with demonstrated strong management and leadership skills and a track record of successful implementation of clinical programs, best practices and excellence in clinical practice. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of outstanding relationships and communication with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff, and the ability to build client relationships. In this role,
the selected candidate will have responsibility as part of the system management team, with the goal to drive patient satisfaction and achieve client and management goals system wide. Working in a fast-paced environment, the selected candidate will need to be skilled in leading and developing the clinical nutrition team.

Coordinates and directs the efforts of clinical and patient care dietitians, as well as other staff members within one or two sites. Responsible for meeting JCAHO/state/federal and company standards. This position is the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff.
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
